CPP Charges Citizenry with Pledge Against Corrupt Acts

The Convention People's Party (CPP) has urged citizens to take a vow against corruption in order to speed up the country's socioeconomic development program.

"To accelerate progress, let us stop paying or accepting bribes as a form of corruption for at least the entire year of 2022," it added.

That commitment, according to the party, might be toward building the wonderful nation that most Ghanaians aspire to by avoiding bribery in order for citizens to perform their duties successfully and efficiently.

The call was delivered by Nana Frimpomaa Sarpong-Kumankumah, Chairperson of the CPP, during an event commemorating the contributions of Martin Luther King Jr. of the United States and Gamal Abdul Naseer Hussein of Egypt, both born on January 15, to the freedom of their countries.
